EPA's groundwater contamination investigation begins at Springwell Field Superfund site

The EPA's investigation of this Spring Park, Minnesota superfund site will determine the scope of contamination. An EPA open house will be held at the Spring Park City Hall on May 4 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

EPA invests more than $1.3 billion to clean up hazardous waste sites in West Virginia

The investment would help clean up both hazardous waste sites and contaminated water sources, according to a news release from Sen. Joe Manchin.

Bill introduced to eliminate Superfund Tax

Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, Johnny Kennedy and Mike Lee reintroduced the Chemical Tax Repeal Act, stating inflation as one of the top reasons to eliminate the Superfund tax.

The EPA puts a Harris County neighborhood on high alert for contaminants

Residents of the northwest Harris County neighborhood have been told to stop drinking well water to avoid the risk of contaminants from a nearby superfund site.

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection begins free soil testing

Residents near the Carson River Superfund Site will receive free testing to search for high levels of metals. Tests are first-come, first-served.

Bronx assembly member explains Climate Change Superfund Act

The Climate Change Superfund Act, which would be administered by the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation, would charge fossil fuel companies for their negative impact on climate change.
