Business Concepts for the Effective Security Manager

4/4/22 10:39 am to 4/7/22 10:39 am EST
Boston, MA
United States

ASIS International is pleased to announce the introduction of a new executive education program for security managers. Offered in partnership with Northeastern University's College of Business, a private research university, the new four-day executive education program is designed to address the scope of business fundamentals and challenges commonly faced by mid-to-upper level corporate security managers.

Business Concepts for the Effective Security Manager draws from Northeastern's Graduate School of Business curriculum and includes eight, half-day sessions on topics including:

  • Finance
  • Negotiation
  • Marketing
  • Strategic thinking
  • Decision-making
  • Change management

For security managers looking to build a better understanding of foundational business concepts and how they can be applied to advance the security program within an organization, this program is ideal. Attendees will gain new perspectives and the ability to confidently formulate and "sell" their departmental plans to their line counterparts. The networking and socialization aspects of the program further extend and enhance the attendee's learning experience.

All participants who successfully complete this program will receive a management certificate from the Northeastern University College of Business.
