Oubai Elagab is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil, Environmental & Ocean Engineering Department at Stevens Institute of Technology. His research focuses on granular material transport in artificially induced hydraulic fractures and its application for groundwater remediation in low-permeability clay formations. He applies advanced experimental and numerical methods to improve amendment delivery and cleanup strategies. Oubai holds an M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and has industry experience as a drilling / service rig engineer. His combined petroleum fieldwork and geo-environmental research enable him to apply subsurface flow knowledge to environmental remediation challenges.
