General Atomics
John Follin graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors in Nuclear Engineering and a Masters in Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Physics in 1979.
Since then, he has been with General Atomics for 46 years as the Director of Strategic Development for weapons destruction programs and for organic destruction using supercritical water oxidation technology. General Atomics is a large corporation headquartered in San Diego that supplies a wide variety of products for both the defense and the commercial arena.
General Atomics started working with supercritical technologies in the mid-1990’s for defense related projects and since 2013 has been successfully selling systems for commercial organic waste destruction applications. Starting in 2021 GA has been heavily involved with the destruction of PFAS materials for both industry and the Government.
