Jessica Meyer is an Assistant Professor in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department and affiliated faculty in IIHR Hydroscience & Engineering at the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on improving techniques for field-based characterization of groundwater flow systems in heterogeneous geologic settings. Dr. Meyer’s current studies are focused on developing quantitative methods for delineating hydrostratigraphic units, advancing approaches for evaluating flow system controls on natural attenuation of organic contaminants in sedimentary rock, and improving approaches for characterizing solute exchanges between groundwater and surface water bodies.
