Ms. Talbert is the Remediation Program Manager in the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. She oversees cleanup at complex federal facilities and Superfund sites in Colorado. Prior to joining the Remediation Program, Jennifer was a Colorado Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Natural Resources and Environment Section, where she represented CDPHE to resolve complicated legal issues for Superfund and federal facilities sites, Brownfields and voluntary cleanups, as well taking legal enforcement actions pursuant to the Colorado Hazardous Waste Act and the Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities Act.

Ms. Talbert received her juris doctorate from Vermont Law School and her Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Lehigh University. Prior to working for the state, she began her career in private practice where she focused on environmental, land conservation, real estate and other civil practice areas.
