Farhaneh Maghsoudi is a Research Assistant in Environmental Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Arjun Venkatesan. Her research focuses on hydrophobic ion pairing as a pretreatment method to increase the hydrophobicity of short-chain PFAS in water and soil, enhancing their adsorption onto various adsorbents. Her academic interests include water treatment, soil remediation, and the removal of emerging contaminants.
