David Hockey

David has worked for EPA since 1991, and now is the Director of the Office of Mountains, Deserts, and Plains, which is focused on solving hardrock mining cleanup issues across our western states. David has held several management positions in the Agency, specifically related to the CERCLA, RCRA, and TSCA programs. He has an undergraduate in Biology from the University of Delaware and a Master’s in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University. David lives and works in Golden, Colorado, where he enjoys the great skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
