Anita Thapalia is a Global Technical Advisor at ExxonMobil. Her research topics covered risk from emerging contaminants, sampling and analytical, fate and transport, biological processes, and treatment technologies. Anita is a licensed professional geologist with a broad background in geochemistry, isotope fingerprinting, groundwater hydrogeology, contaminant transport, subsurface analysis, and site assessments. She holds B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Geology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, MS, and PhD in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at El Paso.
