Katherine Manz

Dr. Manz is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Kurt Pennell's laboratory in the School of Engineering at Brown University. She earned her PhD in Energy Science and Engineering through the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education. Dr. Manz's research interests include detection of trace-level contaminants in the environment using mass spectrometry and understanding the degradation, transformation, and migration of environmental contaminants in the environment.
