Jamie Suski, PhD is a senior scientist at EA Engineering, Science and Technology, Inc., PBC in Hunt Valley, MD. Jamie’s current area of research focus is on ecotoxicological effects and risk assessment of contaminants of emerging concern, including, Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). Jamie serves as the Principle Investigator or Co-Principle Investigator on several research grants focused on novel approaches to assess PFAS risk to Threatened and Endangered Species and investigating abiotic and biotic influences on bioaccumulation of PFAS in freshwater fish. She is also serving as the Principle Investigator on researching the ecotoxicity and biodegradation of fluorine free replacement firefighting foams. Jamie participates on the PFAS team of the Interstate Technical Regulatory Council (ITRC) as co-author for the ecotoxicology section of the technological regulatory document. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biology Towson University in Towson, MD, a master’s degree in Environmental Toxicology from University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD and a doctoral degree in Ecology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
